Everlab launches Concierge, an AI health assistant grounded in membersʼ own health data

As Australians increasingly turn to AI with questions about their health, preventative health company Everlab has launched Concierge - an in-app AI health assistant grounded in each member's own health record, with access to Everlab clinicians when needed.
General-purpose AI doesn't have the context of an individual's health history, diagnostic data or existing care plan - context that fundamentally changes how health information is understood. By bringing AI into an existing healthcare relationship, Concierge keeps questions, insights and clinical care connected over time.
Within Concierge, members can chat with Eva, Everlab's personalised health AI, 24/7. Eva draws on diagnostic and physical testing, health and family history, clinical notes, wearable data and clinician-authored care plans to provide answers in the context of that member's health, rather than relying on generic information alone.
Concierge has been in beta since May, and has now rolled out to all Everlab members across Australia. Early usage reflects that demand for personal context, with 28% of conversations related to members' results, followed by nutrition at 11% and exercise at 9%.
The launch comes as Australians increasingly experiment with AI for health, with research published in the Medical Journal of Australia finding 9.9% of Australian adults, approximately 1.9 million people, used ChatGPT for health questions in 2024.
"Health questions don't just come up in the doctor's office. People want answers as questions arise, and increasingly they're turning to AI to get them," says Marc Hermann, Co-founder and CEO of Everlab. "That behaviour isn't going away. The opportunity for healthcare is to meet people where they already are, but with the context generic AI can't provide. That's why we built Concierge: AI that knows your health because it's connected to the care that came before it."
When medical judgement is required, Concierge connects members with Everlab clinicians, including doctors, nurses, dietitians and exercise physiologists, so questions raised through Eva can move into clinical care without starting again. Members can also request prescription renewals, medical certificates and referrals through Concierge, with each request reviewed by a registered clinician who determines the appropriate next step.
For Everlab, Concierge represents a shift from healthcare organised around individual appointments to an ongoing relationship members can access whenever questions arise.
"We encourage people to be curious about their health and equipped to make better decisions about it," says Dr Steven Lu, Chief Medical Officer at Everlab. "But a result, symptom or question can mean something very different depending on a person's history and what we already know about their health. Concierge gives members a secure environment to engage with that information, while ensuring a clinician can step in when medical judgement is required."
Concierge is available to all Australian paid Everlab members through the Everlab app, with Eva available 24/7 and clinician support included as part of membership. Australian member health data is stored securely within Australia and is not used to train foundation AI models.
