Your metabolism changed.
Here's why.
In your late 30s and 40s, the body stops responding to what used to work. A DEXA scan, comprehensive bloodwork, and a specialist review tell you why.
It's biology,
not willpower.
You're eating the same way and still exercising, but your body composition is changing and the old approaches have stopped working. Perimenopause changes how your body stores fat and handles blood sugar, and we measure the mechanism first.
From your data,
a plan that fits you.
Once your specialist has the full picture, you get a plan built around your biology, not a template.
That might be nutrition and training, and where it's clinically appropriate, a supervised weight management plan prescribed by an Australian doctor. If it's not right for you, we'll say so.

The full clinical picture,
in one program.
We measure the systems behind how you feel, then a specialist reads the whole picture rather than just what a lab flags.

An exit plan, from day one
Why we measure
before we treat.
A plan you can trust starts with data, not a protocol. We run the diagnostics, a specialist reads the whole picture, and only then do we talk about what to do, and whether treatment is even part of it.
Contraindications
Not everyone is a suitable candidate for this treatment, Your doctor reviews your health history before treatment begins and may request diagnostics to make sure it's the right approach for you.
Side Effect Management
Nausea, fatigue, and appetite changes are common early on, and how they're managed impacts outcomes. Our minimum approach and your weekly check-ins address effects as they come.
Treatment Sourcing
Your treatment is sourced from TGA-regulated, licensed pharmacies only. Each one is reviewed and dispensed by a qualified pharmacist before delivery to you - no compromise on quality.

The clinical approaches used in our program have a well-established safety profile, backed by over a decade of research and real-world use. As with any treatment, there are risks — which is exactly why medical supervision matters. Your Everlab clinician will review your full health history before recommending any course of action, and will monitor you throughout the program.
The most common side effects are nausea, reduced appetite, and mild gastrointestinal discomfort, particularly during the early stages of treatment. These typically ease as your body adjusts. Our conservative approach and weekly clinical check-ins are specifically designed to minimise these. If side effects are affecting your quality of life, your clinician will adjust your protocol — we never push through effects that aren't manageable.
No — and we're planning your exit from Day 1. Treatment is a tool, not a life sentence. Your program includes a dedicated maintenance protocol for when you step down or transition off. Some patients choose to continue long-term; others use it as a bridge to sustainable metabolic health. Your clinician will work with you on the right approach for your situation.
Your offboarding plan is built into your program from the first consultation. It includes a nutrition protocol, a monitoring schedule, and defined health markers we want to see before you transition out. You don't leave without a clear plan and a clinician who knows your history.
Coverage depends on your individual health fund and clinical circumstances. Your clinician can discuss this with you at your initial consultation. Many patients find the program cost-effective compared to the long-term cost of unmanaged metabolic health conditions.
Your GP plays an important role in your overall health. What a standard GP visit typically can't provide is weekly clinical support, a dedicated dietitian, regular body composition and metabolic monitoring, and a structured offboarding plan — all coordinated within a single program. Everlab doesn't replace your GP. We work alongside your existing care team, offering more specialist time and more structured support than a standard appointment allows.
We'll tell you at the initial consultation — before any treatment begins. If this program isn't clinically appropriate for your situation, we'll explain why and discuss alternatives worth exploring. We'd rather have that honest conversation upfront than recommend something that isn't right for you.
Everlab operates clinics in all Australian states, with video consultations available nationally. Your initial consultation and most follow-ups can be completed via video.
